I guess the Broncos aren't ready to give up on this season quite yet...

A rather dramatic game from the Broncos tonight. The past few weeks hasn't exactly instilled any faith in this team's resilience. But then they go and score 21 4th quarter points to come back and win a game that pretty much falls into the over-used "must win" category.

If this team is going to continue winning games it seems like they are going to have to just flat out wing the ball 40-50 times a game and hope that turnovers don't sabotage them. (Love the Royal pass play!) God knows they can't run the ball for shit seeing as their entire RB roster was, or now is, on the bench with some ailment. I can't believe I just watched an NFL team play an entire half of a regular season game with a freaking white tailback. Injuries force coaches into some very uncomfortable decisions...
Now, how about that defense?!? Just fucking painful to watch. Can't tackle for shit, can't make a stop on 3rd down, teams are able to pass at will on them. If I was an opposing coach I'd probably go for it on every 4th down that was under 3 yards...even if I was on my own 10 yard line...in the 1st quarter.
Enough bitching I suppose. They won a game finally. Let it be a springboard.

Just before falling off the Cutler "Straight Talk Express" -I'm back on. I mean there are 53 guys on the sideline and a shitty coaching staff hanging on this guys back. Give the lad as many Big Macs and Jager Bombs as he needs...for the love of God!Clearly we haven't had a glimpse of a running game all season, but now we are officially running the anti-wildcat. That works against the Browns defense, which may have surpassed the B'cos as the league's worst, but is concerning for the remainder of the schedule. Does Bob Slowik know that you're allowed to rush more than 3 guys (also known as a blitz)? No, seriously though...Also, I'd like to know if it is mathematically possbile to win the division at 7-9.

Certainly not a lot of blitzing going on. Thought the same thing.

I'll take it! All 3 starting, yet sometimes overated, LB's out. All 4 RB's out, although the rookie did get me some fantasy points before his exit. Win in Atlanta next week before coming home to the Raiders and you have a little winning streak. Good to know it is Scheffler that makes the Broncos offense tick. Play of the night, Stokely stopping BMarsh and his end zone celebration that would have cost us the game. That dude is not smart!

Yeah. Stokely was able to snuff out Glove-Gate before it gave the Browns even better field position than they (and just about every other team in the league against the Broncos) had already been enjoying.

What's this blitz you speak of?

I hate to give him any credit, but Bly's strip was pretty huge.

Agreed on Bly's strip. Difference was this time he had others tackling for him while he went for the strip! Word to Chauncey for sporting #7, go Nuggs!
