Wow. The Avs were completely outplayed tonight, but still get a point on the road. Flanders....I mean, Peter Budaj was on the campaign trail tonight and made some pretty solid arguments in his favor for the starting goalie spot. The winning OT goal by Schneider was sssssick. Good D by Hannan and an impossible save for Budaj. Sweet helper by Lappy in the 2nd, but it seemed like the puck was in the Avs' zone the entire night, courtesy of sluggish, sloppy play in front of Flanders. Thank you, Ned. May you get 5 goals of support next time around. It's getting mighty crowded atop the NW Division....Come back, Super Joe......

Can you somehow relate this to the absolutely warped first Meat Puppets record though?
The Avs sluggish performance last night gave the impression that they were skating on ice covered in gravel that was recently coughed up from Curt Kirkwood's larynx after he layed down his gruff vocal tracks on the self-titled Meat Pupper's debut.
Well played.
Well played indeed Troutdog....
Just ran an errand over to the Safeway by my office (Broadway & Highlands Ranch Pkwy).
Fan 950 was broadcasting on-site for some reason... Hurdle and Hastings hamming it up.
Hurdle has a massive noggin... never really appreciated it on TV.
It's like Sputnik... quite sphereical but pointy at parts.
where the hell was Alfred?
He is "on assignment."
They were there all day fundraising for Children's Hospital. Pretty great event. Hastings is also "not so wee" in person.
war revisiting some Puppitos discs this evening.....
War places that are forbidden
shit! Gotta make my picks!
Also, Cap'n, does it have it's own weather patterns?
Is this a movie quote?
It must be a virtual planetoid.
wow, young bear, reaching for Forbidden Places? an odd choice, but commendable.
It's like an orange on a toothpick!
He'll cry himself on that gargantuan pillow of his.
