"This is exciting. It's getting fun," owner Dick Monfort said.

Agreed, Dick.

Remember this feeling, Dick. Especially when these players want to resign with you. Don't blow it.

Props to the Rockies for taking some of the sting out of the phantom Broncos appearance today.

Rest up and be ready to pound Penny and Dodgers on Tuesday like you did last week.

Not only are we talking about Rockies baseball after July, we're talking about Rockies baseball on September 23.

We're definitely in the mix and it IS exiting and fun. Finally, something we can agree about, Dick.

I have to say I was checking out the ticker every chance I had during the "football" game, did the Broncos play yesterday? In case you didn't know the Yankees are only 1 1/2 games behind the Sox...can the Rocks get some love, who else is going to win their last 14 in a row!! Bradley is a real normal dude too, apparently that was the highlight of the game from a national perspective!!

By far, the highlight of yesterday's "football" game was the halftime TD induction. My analysis to follow, I'm sure....

Something tells me the Dodgers might be a little eager to return the favor the Rockies paid them last week at Coors. Sounds like Holliday will be back on Tuesday. We definitely need to bring our best game to keep the streak alive.

And yeah, the WWL gives about 10 mintues of coverage to the Bradley meltdown and about 10 seconds of real highlights and "out of nowhere, the rockies are only 1 1/2 back." Sweet inside the parker G-dawg.....the thing about the G-dawg, is that you can't put a leash on the G-dawg.

I'm stoked I get to watch this upcoming series on the tube.

I should probably make a concerned effort to get down to Chavez. Perhaps I will.

Who(m) are these Rockies you speak of?
CJ, i demand a Chavez trip! We need an out-of-towners report.

had an MRI this morning and it sounds like milton is out for the season with an ACL tear...
dude is wacky.

Also sounds like the 1st base umpire was a little wacky himself. Fresh tackle by the 1st base coach, the knee looked nasty!

I hope this injury somehow results in more losses for the Padres against the Giants the next 4 days.
