Forecast calls for Francis

Let the brooms come out for this working man's special. Last night's game was pretty sweet; the one brewer fan we went to the game went was pretty bitter all the way home. I kept on tellin her that at least the Cub's lost too, but I guess she didn't care. No matter, we're back in the hunt (come on get in the hunt!) for NL West crown, only 4 back now... My pirates?

Got to like our chances tonight with the vest's own Jeff Francis on the mound. Myself Ian, his gal, and T-D will be in attendance, suppla-ing the sweet 3rd base seats (come on super Gallegos!). I guess accuscore doesn't even want to touch this one (I can't seem to find it), condsidering they haven't got the past two games.

...hoist a few for me.

T-Dog won't be in attendence, unless DeathTruck saves a tickey for me to break out of work later this afternoon to catch the last few innings. This fucking "work" thing is really hampering my ability to go to 3 baseball games in 5 days.

Go Rox!!

Looks like Iannetta might get called back up due to hammy injury Bellorin suffered in his first MLB at bat. Is it the curse of the Iannetta??

Forecast calls for Francis....with a chance of Helton and late sprinkling of Corpas.

I gotta believe the Rox record when Spilly and Carrol are in the lineup is like 56-0 and when they are not something like 0-52.

I'm already regretting not being at this game. I better getting to see the late sprinkling of Corpas. Kazmat with a leadoff single.

so Iannetta is not being called back up. it's another sky sox dude, Colina.

Did anyone else hear that Hirsh pitched last night for 5 innings with a broken leg? I noticed him limp pretty heavily at times during the game.

Wow - that really sucks about hirsh. QUuite an amazing effort to pitch that well with a broken leg. Sounds like he might be able to come back at some point. Re-insert Taylor into the rotation?

Bring up the young'en Gregg Reynolds! Nothing like a little rookie magic in September to add to the Cinderella story.

I saw the dudes numbers for that catcher they are bringing up. Lets just say his numbers at AAA are very comparable to Ianetta's big league #'s. Help is not on the way.

Is Ted Simmons available?
