Deconstructing a Legend

It goes without saying that this is a big road trip for the Rox. Tonight would be a a very big game considering we have Franchise going against a pitching legend with deteriorating skills. Maddox hasn't won a game since June, but don't expect any of these games to be easy. We need a solid performance whenever we have a legit MLB starter on the mound. Tonight is one of those nights, so let's get a win.......

Feel free to even email the booth tonight TD. I've already submitted my Fuentes oriented email.

I don't know if I can stomach this game. Why is Franchise still in? He can't throw strikes or get anyone out. Not the way to start this roadie.

Not very impressive. What gives with Francis lately? Is Foggie our ace now?

You mean Foggchise?

Actually, Francis has done quite well lately when getting 15 runs of support.

Expect Taveras to go on the DL tomorrow. The injuries are really mounting.

As much as it pains me, the Rox could probably use a BK Broiler right about now. We have to scrape 1 victory out of SD and try to get 2 in LA.

Missing Taveras doesn't bother me much. Means more of my main men J Carrol and Spills-ly-zly-ens. K Mat can hold down the lead off.

We need some pitching Monfarts!

The Broiler will probably be available today after his brilliant 1/3 inning start last night getting shelled by Florida. Actually, I think he does the Rox more good starting every fifth day for the D-backs.

We definitely need to pick someone off waivers. Sad we didn't make a trade before the deadline.
