Melo scores basketball points
Probably warrants a post that Melo put up 33 points in the 3rd quarter, breaking the franchise record. Don't have too much time to elaborate, but I think it's fair to say now that the Nug-pups are now among the elite in the western coference (though might still be a tier lower than those stupid Lakers). Not that carmelo's performance in one quarter was the clincher, it just seems like the nugs are consistently winning games that they SHOULD be winning, a quality they haven't possessed since they became a playoff team. It was also nice to see the team rebound from a rather crappy 1st quarter, when Chauncey was the only player keeping them afloat.
That is all, back to end of semester stuff (jealous?).

AWESOME MELO!
Like DT mentioned, this was another game the Nugs would have loss in the past. (I gave up on it in the first half and turned back with melo at 13 for the third.)
Love that he broke DT's team record (32) and tied his rival's (ICEMAN)NBA record of 33.
Oddly enough, both of those epic games happened on the same night.
15-7, 1st alone in NW, 2nd seed in West!
RESPECT!
It wasn't looking too good for a decent chunk of the game. Melo's 3rd did turn the tide. Gotta win when the Ostrich and his gang come to town...
I didn't know DeathTruck held the previous Nuggets record of 32?!?!
Yeah, they would've lost this game from 2004-2007. If they could just beat the Lakers or Spurs, my eye brows would really prop up!
Oh, and DT, face on the end of the semester. Does this mean you are going to the Avs game tomorrow? If not, YB?
i am hitting up the Nugs this saturday, so tmrw probably not.
Yeah, I'll be doing a take-home final that night. Much more fun than an avs game.
DT: Good Luck on Finals.
Love, Dave Matthews
Thanks Dave.
