SHANA-CANNED

Don't have time right now to do this post justice, but wanted to make sure to at least get this title in as quickly as possible. Those in KTH-land know I'm smiling this evening. Shanny, you were a great coach, but the time had come for you to go. Thanks for the Super Bowls and those bucked-teeth salutes. Bowlen, bring us a solid replacement and someone who can draft defense.

Monforts take note!

Was just about to do a little posting (hey, it's about time!), but was beat to the punch.

I believe the correct words are: Boom, outta here.

The move to get rid of Shanny is kind of a shocker, but kind of not a shocker. I guess the floating heads must have gotten to Bowlen.

Yes. The floating head finally achieved its destiny.

The replacement will be a monumental hire here in Denver. BIG. Actually should say "hireS". Personnel decisions is what brought this firing upon Shanatan I would venture, so there better be some division of labour to include a head coach and some manner of GM/personnel head as well.

Forgot to consider the patron saint factor in my poll. Kubiak?

Kids at CSU? Was once the heir apparent?

ST, I was completely floored by the lack of our namesake in the poll.....
Can that be promptly fixed?
I got some votes to burn on a certain back-up quarterback. Seriously, he runs the same system, so the young offense wouldn't have to break stride in their progress.

I can't believe Shanny is fired. Have y'all heard the rumors about him not wanting to fire a couple coaches, so Bowlen canned him.

Great headline.

Yeah I heard that Shanny refused to get rid of some coaches, and that became the "straw" so to speak. Some pretty crazy "stunned" Cutler quotes out there now too.

I see the tuna and the mooch are also on the short list.

My "other" vote was most definetely for the patron saint. Could he be coaxed out of H-town?
