Hold On To the Ball Please

Two fumbles in the first quarter by Andre Hall. What is the old adage about turnovers on the road? Oh yeah, you don't win many games when you lose the turnover battle. Not a good start to this one...

This is fucking pathetic. Reminds me of the blowouts the Broncos used to suffer back in the 80s and early 90s. Remember the Halloween game against Eric Dickerson and the Colts?
Someone needs to get fired. Can you fire an entire defense?

A very similar question was pondered by ST and myself. This new D coordinator must also suck, but can you fire all of the players (minus Champ)? Our defense just looks weak and too small. The line push against them was blatant. Any RB for the Pats could've just fallen down and gained 2-3 yards. Without Champ, they get even worse, which is hard to believe.

Special teams coverage continues to be horrible.

The offense would actually be quite good if they could not turn the ball over constantly. If they were healthy and didn't turn it over, they would be force.

The only reason I wouldn't totally write them off is that MNF is typically not a good measuring stick for a football team (good or bad) and the AFC seems to be somewhat up for grabs this year. That said, this team has very serious problems and can't be considered a serious playoff threat right now. They better figure something out in the bye week.

And yes, I do remember the Halloween Colts game. I was fairly new to Colo at the time, but I believe the headline in the paper was House of Horror. (It was Halloween and in a dome!)

Guys. I actually got an email from some of those late 80s and early 90s teams and they were a little insulted by the comparison to what we all saw against the Patriots.
If we're going to be that half ass I say that we just drop all 11 guys back into coverage. Either that or rust all 11 guys. Sooner or later we are going to take their qb or rb out of the game.

Pathetic doesn't really begin to describe last night's game. Wow.

Foxboro Flop.
