ROCKTOBER

It is my pleasure to post this blog. I'd like to say that perhaps it was my decision to go with Coors light today instead of my regular Firestone. But more than that, I'm thinking it had to be my decision to go with my Jamey Carroll jersey T.

What a freaking ball game. Congrats Rox!

I'm a little too drained to go into detail about tonight's game. Wow. Let's just say it ranks as number 2 on my list of all time greatest sporting events ever attended. #1 being Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals where the Avalanche win the Cup against the Devils. Drama might not have been quite as high that game, but that was, after all, a championship game. This was technically regular season. It didn't seem like it though.

God bless the baseball gods for ignornig umpiring blunders (G-dog did have a homer it appeared from Section 319, but I still haven't seen a replay), managing blunders (countless from Hurdle tonight), and vomitting girls in the row behind DeathTruck (back from the dead), Sammy Winder, and I. I must say, after yesterday and tonight, my mind, liver, and my nerves need a little break. Bring it Rocktober!!!

Bring on the Phils!!! More to follow, fa-sure!!!

Oh yeah, CL, I too was rocking the JC t-shirt jersey! What a sac-fly!

Make that 3 JC jerseys, another one being sported in H-town and left on through the night (special thanks to Young Bear for picking up that gem last season)!!! Go Rox, no one in the NL scares me. I love Rocktober!

WOW...has to rank as THE best sporting event I've ever been to. Just an amazing baseball game. This morning I heard people on the Fan debating the Avs/Devils game vs. last night's within the context of best games ever played in Denver... it really was that good. I realize last night is unfairly fresh in the collective memory and all, and frankly the Avs game won a championship and the other merely moved the Rox onto the first round of the playoffs, but it will be hard to argue with anyone who was in attendance last night that the Rox victory could be topped as a fan experience. Just unfucking real.

Best game I've ever been to. Trying to get my puke pictures to email, but I guess it ain't happening. Rome's saying that Holliday prolly not safe... 'not that it should have mattered'.

What do you think Trevor Hoffman is doing today?

TroutDog said...

Hoffman is probably wondering what it feels like to be Jorge Julio.

jorge julio better not be on that postseason roster....
