Jesus, that hit was brutal. Not dirty, just a brutal hit on another Av player. Hope Smyth is alright. Great win, but kind of costly. Not too much Svatos, too much Svatos better be alright. And here's to Ryan Smyth knowing what country he's in...I dedicate tomorrow's headache to RS.

Smyth and Svatos out indefinetly. Sounds really vague, but not particularly encouraging.

I saw something on the Post's site saying that Smyth also has a very sore shoulder (not surprising). Could be separated or dislocated. Sounds like both might be out for the year, but maybe we'll get some good news later today. Payback for last week's euphoria?
A cool interview with Forsberg and Foote on the Mike and Sandy show this morning. Sounds like Peter will be playing LW with Super Joe.

Heard that Svatos is not too much Svatos - out for the season with torn knee. SMyth out indefinitely with partially separated shoulder. What a shame. Svatos of all people should be able to enjoy this late season run after shouldering the scoring burden for much of the year. This hurts. Hopefully Smyth makes it back in the lineup at some point.
would have much preferred Too Much Svatos. very lame...he did carry the team offensively at times during the injury riddled stretches.
Well, some good news....Peter will play this evening. I hope there is a "this season is dedicated to Svatos" speach in the lockerroom.
