Sweating in Miami, Duck Hunting in D-Town

Tonight is yet another staggered start time, double dip evening of Can Team action. With about half of the 4th quarter left, the Nug Pups are struggling to pull out the win against the lowly Miami Heat. JR Smith is having a career game with almost 30 points right now, including eight 3-pointers. This is the type of game the Nugs can't afford to lose. Maybe they could borrow some of those 30 excess points they didn't really need in Sunday night's blowout victory over the LeBron and the Cavs.

As the nba action winds down, the Avs are getting things going against the piping-hot Ducks over at the Can. Stastny is still not back in the lineup. Apparently he's now suffering from a groin injury. I've got your groin right here. Could use all of the firepower possible aginst the defending Cup champs.

Let's go Can Teams.....

Whoa, that Nugs game was a bit too close for comfort. Lack of rebounding almost cost 'em at the end.

Pretty good game going on down at the Can. Sweet duel fights to end the 2nd period. Props to the Crude for putting the hurt on North Stars tonight!

a bad ending to an entertaining hockey game. ducks seem to be able to get clutch when it matters against the avs...

Losing Clark and Guitte in the 3rd period didn't seem to help either. We seemed to be on the defensive for most of the 3rd, which wasn't the case earlier in the game. A bummer of an ending, for sure.

I haven't heard anything today, but I bet he separated his shoulder. Not good.

I hate when I'm right. Clark has a separated shoulder and will be out for quite a while. Not what this defense needed that was starting to play pretty damn good.

On the plus side, Smyth will be back tomorrow night. I may be bringing my jinx show to the Can as well tomrrow.
