Can't really describe what a monumental shaft to the hometown fans the online sales of WS tickets was. Really great to see individual sellers on eBay, stubhub, etc having multiple sets of tickets for sale already...
Like 99% of Rockies fans, these past 2 days have been absolutely frustrating and disappointing for me.
Just seeing that screen again made my blood boil! I'm angry with how the entire thing was timed and handled.
However, it just dawned on me that first pitch to the 2007 World Series is 25 hours away, and despite not getting any tickets, I'm so happy and amazed that the Rockies will be playing in the Fall Classic.
Time to let the frustrations go and enjoy every second. Lets get the magic back.
I almost hate to say it, but I will be the lucky receipiant of a game 5 ticket (if necessary).
It comes from someone I invited to game 3 of the DLCS (who didn't accept the ticket in the end), so at least there a drop of baseball ticket karma out there.
I hope the rockies players are as pissed as the fans and take some frustration out on the sawwwwks.
Ok, so Pedro Gomez just called Aaron Cook, Dennis Cook and within the same spiel said both Francis and Cook lost the one game the Rox lost earier this year in Fenway.
yeah, capt. been a frequent visitor to KSK for some time now. they usually only discuss football related things, but they graciously include all fans from New England in that tirade!
I thought I was excited for first pitch before I read that.....
Anyone else pick up the "official mlb" Fall Classic Program. I will have it at mi casa for the game tonight. Almost as good as being at Fenway, without all of the annoying fans.
