We are just minutes away from the start of the Fall Classic and honestly this is the first one I will pay attention to in many years. I jot down this miniscule amount of words to allow for in-game banter.

IT’S ON!

Nice young bear - simultaneous posts, yet you get top billing!!

Productivity at work today...not so much.

The Carroll jersey is on!
All the ESPN guys are picking the Red Sox in 5 or 6!
The Monforts still can't get anything right!
Nothing seems to have changed so why not 25 out of 26!

GO......ROCKIES

Like I didn't wear Carroll to work today!

Fucking 2 out hits...go ahead Sox and use them all tonight!!

wow. after seeing the Little Dancing Red Sox Fan repeatedly during tonight's broadcast I think the Denver Post may be including placards in their next daily proclaiming...
"COCKTOBER!"

whatever, I'm 39 years old and chuckled to myself upon coining the term in my head (surely done by scores of kids half my age already) while walking the Sam-dog back home from TD's Hi-Def palace.
maybe a little to lit on High Life Lights, and burnt on a very sorry baseball game to censor myself on our little comment forum.

things better turn around tomorrow night...the giddy optimism of the "streak" has been officially crushed by tonight's Rockies performance. this shit is real, and the Sox lineup is fucking scary. i'm afraid I have to agree with all the Sox fans on internet boards claiming the Sox "are not the D-backs"

Need a showing in Game 2. Not a fucking joke.

how about a little Das Boot magic?

forgot to mention...Young Bear.
i appreciate the (it's on like) Donkey Kong screen graphics.

perhaps the Rox can get the message in time for Game 2.

That game was brutal.

I agree the Sacks are better than the DBacks. But, out pitching was horrendous last night. There is no way they are that good or the Rox are as bad as they looked last night.

I hope someone got firey in the locker room last night and got this team motivated for tonight.

No one blogging about Hurdle's managing last night?

Well let be the first: he's still a moron.

War the removal of rust.

Yep, that Genius tag didn't last too long.

Deathtruck - I believe you wore my Rox cap home last night. Yours is in the HD palace. You can reclaim it tonight around 6 MDT.

Re: last night, we won't know the magnitude of that loss until the first few innings of tonight's game are over. Again, a big key to the game is how we look (especially our pitching) out of the gate.

I'm still having nightmares of that kid trying to breakdance.......war our sweep of the Cubs in the NLDS.

I knew the club had at least been playing some simulated games but to get the Cubs to come into town and then sweep them?!

Not that it matters but why did Hurdle issue the intentional walk to Lowell (whom Francis had retired twice already) to load the bases and face the switch hitting Veritek? Did the scouting report not indicate that he switch hits?

The bright side...it is only one game. A game we weren't expecting to win with JB on the mound. Hopefully it turns out being similar to a playoff hockey where a team wins 6 - 0, become over confident and then loses 1-0 in triple OT the next game (and the winning goal richocheted off a defensemen's skate).

May I be the first to say, F U Schilling. Hopefully he's not pithcing with a bloody jock strap tonight.

Let me the 2nd to say F-U Schilling!!

3rd that!

You guys already captured most of the game 1 BS... but I must confess to being bewildered by the Boston Bullpen Band. What the fuck is that all about? I thought maybe it was a really bad commercial... but sure enough it was real. What a bunch of ass clowns.

TroutDog said...

It's an AL thing, we wouldn't understand.....thank god.

The AL can play my skin flute, and follow that up with a rusty trombone.

very rusty
