We did actually win, right?

Good job by the Avs to stop their mini-losing streak, and with 30PT's man crush, Peter Budaj, in goal. He actually looked pretty solid; both Calgary goals were off good shots and more or less power play goals (though I guess the 2nd wasn't technically). I'm guessing he'll be in the net again on Wed, which is no problem with me if he plays like that again.

Also nice to see the offense come alive; it seemed like everyone was scoring goals. And Smyth and the Duke both get their 300th goals (huh? whammy?).

As I lined the coffers of lodo bars this afternoon watching the nlf playoffs, and one of the most boring football games that could be imagined (thanks afc), I had an eye on my Avs taking it to the Flamers. 4 goals? And we didn't score on a 5 on 3? Glad that doesn't come back to haunt us. Congrats to Ryno and the Duke! Unexpected, but great victory tonight.....

Very unexpected.
Pretty inspired game from the Avs, during a stretch of games that if they aren't, they ain't going to the playoffs most likely.
