Pretty Pathetic....

Like foam Bronco heads and fleece Bronco dreads.

Not too common to decide to post something before halftime, but this game is nothing short of a disaster that I can barely stand to watch. I'd like to personally thank TD and 30PT for NOT finding me a spare ticket down on the outskirts of Mile High pregame. I think I might have bolted this game sooner than that fateful drubbing 41-3 the Chargers handed us at home back in 2007.
Just ugly on every level so far as we enter the half with the Broncos (finally) getting on the board to pull within 31 pts....at halftime. 38-7....at halftime. Down by 31 points at halftime....to the Raiders....at home.
Terrible turnovers, shitty tackling, still no running game.

The one great takeaway here is that I'm safely on the couch and not present for the 3rd straight year of the Broncos losing to the Raiders at home....oh, and Cutler threw 4 picks today which is a slight consolation as well.

UPDATE: We're just halfway through the 3rd quarter and the Raiders have already tied their franchise record for points in a game.

ANOTHER UPDATE: 3rd quarter still not over and the Raiders have now set their franchise record for points in a game. (59) They look to be enjoying piling on too.

You owe me one, ST. This was a complete lay-down. Who knows how we could suck so badly. Not the same team that almost (should have) beat the SB-predicted Jets last week. That '07 Chargers game was very reminiscent to this flame out. The McD seat has to be feeling a bit warm right now.

Yeah. This is probably the first time that I have totally felt that McDaniels is not safe in his position. That was an embarrassment.

How long did you guys stick around to survey and observe the ongoing carnage?

We left after the 3rd, which felt like 9 quarters of football.

It's fitting that the next game is outside the country. I hope the UK is ready for the 2-5 Bcos vs the 1-6 '9ers. Quite a matchup.

losing a game instantaneously as the Broncos did today, will cube quarters in length I'd imagine.

yeah. ship both of those teams out of country. can't believe my Niners lost to Carolina today as well...

Both teams f*cking up my picks.

My attention this season may just turn fully to hating the Bears.

If your team gives up 59 points in the NFL, at HOME, to a 2-4 team, that is a RIVAL you should be fired immediately after!!! Today Al Davis looks smarter than Pat Bowlen.

The Bears are no fun to hate because they are garbage. I will continue my hatred of the Chargers and am currently looking for 2 bandwagons to jump on for the remainder of the year.

Good points on the D and the Chargers hate. Seeing that carnage in person Sunday was surreal. I've never seen a defense look so disinterested and an offense get so rattled that early. No excuse for that against the Raiders at home. Not trying to be overly optimistic, but I bet we win in Oakland. It's the way it's been the last several years. That should have been our 4th straight home loss to the Raiders. It would have been had it not been for Shanny's Mickey Mouse time out call just prior to the Raiders kicking the winning FG. I was happy with the result, but that started a stupid trend in the NFL. We aren't able to protect this house for years.

Not only have we not protected this house, I'm pretty sure you'd be stating a falsehood by chanting "WE READY" before opening kickoff.

I kept wishing they'd mercifully switch over from the Mile High Massacre to the Pats/Chargers so I could get some satisfaction from a SD loss.

I think I will wait until after the bye week to watch the donkeys. Until then I will continue to watch the Chargers crumble. Pick of the week, Bills over the Chiefs.

You gotta love the fact too that the Chargers are #1 in the league in total "O" and "D" and still 2-5.

Bills over the Chiefs? Damn, you're feeling bold. They did give the Ravens a run I suppose...
