Now I'm Mad....

Apparently a conference call between Cutler and McD didn't go that well today when the QB was told anybody can be traded. Cutler thinks he might have to take his shoulder pad gripping (and general griping) show on the road and may not show up for offseason conditioning Monday. This saga is getting incredibly old in a hurry. I hear a certain ex-Bronco QB has been staying in shape in his retirement. Something has to give.

Jake should still be the Broncos QB. Call me crazy.
Hard to say what the last couple years would have been like if Jake hadn't had the eternal Shanny-yank delivered back in '06, sending the Snake to handball oblivion. Sure, the defense was better back when Plummer was playing, which likely covered for some of his crazy mistakes and was a good part of what success they enjoyed during Jake's time in Denver.

That said, they also won a lot of games back when the AFC West was actually a fairly competitive division, and were a damn fun team to watch and root for.

Broncos and the AFC championship game. Remember 2005, because this team and that game (much less the Super Bowl) will not be mentioned together any time soon with the current bullshit going down.

I'd prefer to like the team if it sucks...

...failed to mention that the Avs and Nuggets suck.

Yes, the Avs and (now) the Nuggets both suck too.

I'm barely interested in seeing how the current qb drama concludes. The whole thing is so off-putting thanks to all parties involved. Although I was pretty bummed by Jake's 2006 performance, I'd love to have him back now. Like you say, ST, at least he's fun to root for when your team isn't going to the playoffs.

That picture of Roy is going to give me nightmares.
