A Victory for Barrel Man

A somewhat unexpected drubbing of the Chiefs this afternoon in KC for the Broncos. Was expecting a closer game with the Broncos winning, but will certainly take a stress-free crucial road win in a place that has been a house of horrors for the B'cos for quite some time. Defense came up big again with turnovers against a Chiefs offense that looked horrible. Running game was dominant and aside from some Orton turnovers (great game to get some of those out of your system), the offense did more than enough to make this a laugher by mid-3rd quarter. Another thing I noticed today, which was very nice to see, was the utter lack of penalties committed by the B'cos. That would be a good trend to continue from here on out. And yes, the Barrel Man died yesterday. You can only assume he would've loved this game. This one's for you, dude.

But honestly, what does this post have to do with Cutler and his Bears eeking a home win against the hapless Rams? Impressive....

Not sure if the Redskins game had some people spooked but this was quite the romp.
(H)Orton's 3 Turnovers were a bit discouraging but we dominated in all areas.
If the Packers win tonight, the B'cos wild card spot is almost in the bag.

I expect a barnburner in Indy next sunday.

That Redskins loss doesn't appear to be so catastrophic in light of their recent play. Especially when you consider Simms played half the game (not Drew Brees, who should've lost).

Playing in Indy has been another house of horros for the B'cos over the years, so maybe that trend is also bucked.

Let's go Pack!

Awesome game too by the way.

Nothing would build momentum like an upset of the Colts...I like our chances going into this week. 1-15 in KC in December? Loved the blowout! Again, the Broncos are under the radar. War Raider Nation. War SNL fading Tiger. War Packers on MNF. Love the NFL.

Forgot, RIP Barrel Man. Tailgated above his crew for a few years with Dorsey at the old Mile Hi. Always loved the national anthem, "Home of the Broncos", with everyone doing an orange or blue shot, about 30 minutes before kickoff and before he put on the barrel.

Awesome story Riggins. I guess his Broncos fever finally got the best of him. (Sorry, lame joke.)

You know things are going well when even Mitch Berger is kicking the ball well.....

My Rams really let me down.
An upset would have had all the makings for a great post.
