According to the Wikipedia (and it's always correct), the season record was set in 1962 by George Blanda, who threw 42. Cuntler has his work cut out for him, to reach that mark. 7 more games like last night and he would shatter it by 10.
Now, while watch Jay flail is a great side hobby, we really should start focusing on the B'cos. I sort of fear the Skins this week for some reason. I hope I'm dead wrong and the 6-0 team shows up.
TD..I agree with you. The Skins really bother me too. This is a must win in my opinion. YB...I don't know if we are 17 points better than anyone, especially on the conservative offensive side of the ball. I'm predicting 0 picks for Orton and a 13-6 Broncos win.
Still, all 3 pro teams atop the standings in November is a pretty sight!
That was a mighty impressive 10-6 win for the 9ers against a team that game up over 40 the week before at home. For one night at least, they were my 9ners.
It is a very important game and I think a win. However, the Skins are probabably looking at it like it's a somewhat winnable game against a team that's 6-2 and might actually show up as a result. Then again, they are the Skins...
The standings are beautiful thing. F Kobe....there, I said it.
Also keep in mind.... Which team did the Lions finally break their losing streak against?? I'm not buying into this "be scared of Washington" crap. Their offense (sans clinton) might not get the ball over the 50. (Something PIT did just once in the first half)

you've found yr jounalistic niche, DT...
It's the pleats...an optical illusion.
That game was a work of art. #5 brought a tear to my eye.
Was that pic taken at Buffalo Run?
What a fucking dork. Would love to see Marmalard side by side in that photo shoot.
He is so incredible inside the red zone! Glad to see the Bears have found their franchise QB.
Speaking of Senor Rios, I just can't hate him like I used to now that I have a similar distain for #6.
God this bronco team misses his 17 picks (just under 2/game)
I really hope he breaks 30 for the season.
BTW-What's the nfl record?
I's imagine that blanda's 42 should be safe.
Guess back when they were just figuring "the forward pass" out the picks were flowing like wine.

The BCos haven't played down to the comp in their 8 games so far......
20-3 win.

My Niners?
There, I said it.

Jeez, I guess this proves the point that a Bull Run picture of Cuntler can really get the blogosphere buzzing.
I'm with you YB. Why the hell should we fear the skins?
