Tyler Mania!!!
Not that Arnason was solely responsible for the onslaught that is currently happening as the 2nd period winds down, but I wanted to invent some new, incredibly stupid-sounding phrase. This was exactly the type of game the Avs needed tonight. This could change the complexion of the rest of the series in the Avs' favor. While that remains to be seen, you can be sure that this is the type of game that Jacques Lemaire absolutely can't stand. Let's hope the Wild come unraveled (without totally gooning it up in the 3rd period) and Backstrom loses all of the confidence he built in Games 1-3. Enjoy this victory Avs, but come with the same fire on Thursday night........

I didn't know Minnesota was capable of gooning it up to the level they did in the third period. I did take note of how many missed checks occurred by the Minnesota goon squad sent them flying into the boards. The third period was actually a pretty entertaining comedic performance by the Wild. Let's take it to 'em again at the Xcel Centre. I wonder what the outside of that building looks like?
The goon squad was in full effect. I thought we stood up rather admirably. Nice to be able to rest Forsberg for the entire 3rd. We need to work a little harder on our Power Play kills the way we are letting in shorthanded goals.....yeah, how does hte Xcel Center look from the outside. Maybe we can find out Thursday.
Pretty amazing the Wild are yet to score in the first 2 periods all series.
A mighty fun game to attend, with a serious comfort zone reached midway through the 1st period.
The Wild frustration in the 3rd was a tad shocking, but by the looks of it, they've been listening to some EC Armed Forces
"They want you to come out to play, you'd better say goodbye...Goon Squad"
Nice restraint shown by the Avs too.
I'd prefer ARNY Mania!
A laugher was surely needed. A good performance all around... the same thing you've come to expect: power, varsatility, capability.
You're on the air.....let's go to the phones!
Did Salei's Eye perform on the terrace of the Pepsi Center after the game? He was the Number 1 star, after all.
Number 1 star indeed.
Salei #24 sweater gift requests were heard.
